“Santa’s Busiest Helper” (i.e., UPS) is planning on delivering an amazing 240 packages per second on December 20th, which is expected to be the busiest day of the year. To handle this surge, they’re hiring an additional 60, 000 seasonal workers… I still remember the UPS job ads from when I was in college — “Work out while you work.” It’s a tough job, but it pays pretty well for hourly work. Anyway, let’s just hope their system holds up around Christmas time a bit better than it did on a recent delivery out West…

Yeah, UPS and FedEx advertise heavily in the campus newspapers around here. They have five or six different shifts during the day so they can fit in as many people as possible.
You have my address, right? My home does accept UPS — just in case you’re thinking of sending my present that way. 😉
