*EDITOR’S NOTE: The below offer(s) are expired and/or no longer available.
On the heels of last week’s 60k bonus points after meeting spend requirements for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, I wanted to point out another deal from Chase… This time around, you can get 10k bonus points from the Chase Sapphire card (i.e., the non-preferred version).
What’s the difference? Well, in this case, the bonus points are worth $100 vs. the $500 toward travel (when you redeem through Ultimate Rewards) that you could get from the Preferred card, but you only have to spend $500 within three months to qualify. The primary advantage is that there is no annual fee associated with this offer vs. the $95 (waived for the first year) annual fee that accompanies the Preferred card.
All things considered, I would lean toward the Sapphire Preferred card with 60k bonus points but if you’d prefer the Chase Sapphire card along with the 10k bonus points, then…you may consider applying.
