While tracking my wife’s flight today, I discovered that Google Chrome is sponsoring free wi-fi on AirTran, Delta, and Virgin America domestic flights from November 20th, 2010 through January 2nd, 2011.
To access the free connection, simply enable wi-fi on your device, select the “gogoinflight” network, and launch your web browser. You’ll be redirected to the GoGo web site where you just have to click the “Start Browsing the Web” button.
While this promo is sponsored by Google Chrome, it looks like you can participate with any browser. That being said, I coincidentally made the switch to Chrome about two weeks ago, and I love it.
Thanks for the tip! I will be flying in late December on Delta flights. The free wi-fi from Google will be much appreciated.
