Last night we learned that: (1) the sellers of our new house had officially signed the contract (they had previously given verbal consent, but it’s not a done deal until they sign), and (2) the buyers of our current house accepted the terms of our counter offer. In other words, we bought and sold (or at least went under contract at both ends) in less than six days while out of town with four kids in a hotel. Whew! I’m off to the inspection of our new house this morning, and then we have to make the drive back home. More details to follow.

Wow, congratulations!! And you kept the Rainbow playset!!
Well, I guess you didn’t need the good luck. Nice going. I hope that inspections and everything go well so that you don’t have to deal with breaking out of either contract.
You make it seem so easy! Good luck in the “home” stretch. Hahaha.
That worked out well for you!
