TurboTax and Quicken Giveaway

The good folks at Intuit have provided me with three “financial packages” to give away to FCN readers. Each package comes with a Turbo Tax Deluxe online webcard (including one free federal and state preparation along with e-filing) and a copy of Quicken Deluxe Desktop. That’s right, you get both. In case you’re curious, here’s a link to my TurboTax vs. TaxCut comparison.

Since I have three of these packages, I’ve decided to do three different giveaways. While you can only win one copy, you’re welcome to try for all three. Read on for details…

Win by Commenting

For the first copy, simply leave a comment below telling me a bit about yourself (age, sex, marital status, geographic location, whether you have kids or not, or whatever else you feel like sharing) and/or how you found this site. On Tuesday evening, I’ll randomly pick a winner from all commenters.

Win by Tweeting

For the second copy, you’ll need to create a Twitter account (unless you already have one), follow me (@fcn; unless you’re already following me), and then Tweet the following message (just copy/paste it):

Win TurboTax & Quicken – Follow @fcn and re-tweet – Details: http://is.gd/gP4P – #fcnttq

Be sure to include the ‘#fcnttq’ tag at the end so I can easily find your entry. On Tuesday evening, I’ll randomly pick a winner from everyone who enters via Twitter.

Win by Subscribing

The last copy is reserved for RSS and/or e-mail subscribers. For the duration of the contest, I’ll be including a “secret” e-mail address at the end of each article in my RSS feed. Simply subscribe (if you haven’t done so already) and keep an eye out for the secret address. Once you have it, just shoot me a quick e-mail (just one) at that address. On Tuesday evening, I’ll randomly select a winner from amongst the messages I receive at that address.

The Fine Print

Entries will be accepted through 9PM Eastern on Tuesday, January 27th. I will contact the winners via e-mail and/or Twitter, so please be on the lookout, and please be sure to use a valid e-mail address. Note that the winners will receive their software directly from the PR firm that handles TurboTax/Quicken, so you’ll have to provide me with a U.S. mailing address (no PO boxes, please) that I can pass along to them. Void where prohibited. Good luck!
