This is just a friendly reminder that stamp prices are increasing on Monday, May 11th. As long as you get your stuff postmarked by tomorrow (May 9th), you should be fine. But… Don’t drop stuff in the box after the last Saturday pickup and expect it to go out as expected on Monday.
In case you missed it the first time, postage on first class letters will be increasing from $0.42 to $0.44, and prices for other services will also be adjusted upward. Of course, if you have forever stamps, you don’t really have to worry (at least not for regular letters). If not, you’ll need to pick up some $0.02 stamps.
Very good information. Lucky me I recently found your site by accident (stumbleupon).
I have book-marked it for later!
Hi there! I know this is kind of off topic but
I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with
hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
ahhh! I hate it. My husband accidently mailed about 20 bills yesterday with 42 cent stamps on them because he forgot about the increase. Great, get ready late fees!
I am retired & live on a fixed income , it is becoming increasingly harder to to live ! It is not just postage increasing – it is Groceries , Taxes , Medical Etc ., our retirement stays the same & everything else keeps going up !
Man, I really hate postage increases. They seriously need to limit increases to once every few years. I still have some 39 cent stamps that I haven’t gone through yet because I hate having to keep buying a bunch of 2 cent stamps!
